The inevitable came and everyone close to you shed tears, mostly your dad, mum, sister, brothers and friends. Growing up with you in festac town was fun and when i look back to how it was as kids, i said to myself thinking aloud 'THE DREAM"...
The dream cut short long before now of a dashing young man who i grew up with to know wanting to be the best in everything he does. Individual dreams and circumstances kept us apart not knowing how life treated you over the years, The shocking news came "DEATH" and so many stories of life not fulfilled filled my ears. I wish to tell more about how great you would have been but with so much tears and pain in my heart i ask MYSELF and YOU reading this right now, it could have been a different story for RAFA if only we paid a little attention, show extra care and loved truly like a friend and neighbour . I question our attitude towards support, it is not all about the money but a word from YOU and I to Adebola Awesu might have gone a long way in choosing a right path and help actualize his "DREAM"... Another RAFA is out there close to you and i, do not wait for the inevitable to show support and cry over what YOU and I would have changed.. Let us not only condemn, let us take bold steps to get to know reasons why so many young men and women out there deviate from a life with prospect to engaging themselves to the ills of the society.... we all can make an "IMPACT" no matter how little it is, we are responsible to each other.... take the step today and be an "IMPACT' to a brother or sister next to you as your read this.
